V Ratings
Every restaurant gets a V rating. The V rating is a measure of how vegetarian and vegan friendly the restaurant is.
V Ratings
V-Ware = Not a veggie friendly place. Beware!
VV = OK but don’t expect much choice
VVV = Make a genuine effort for veggies and vegans
VVVV = Non-vegetarian restaurant nirvana
VVVVV = A good vegetarian restaurant
Super V = Vegetarian nirvana.
These are the factors I consider when I give a V rating:
*The number of vegetarian (i.e. no meat or seafood) menu items compared to non-veg items.
*Whether there is a separate vegetarian menu.
*Whether there are vegan options (and how many)?
*Whether the restaurant adapt dishes?
*Whether the veggie food tasty and carefully thought out?
*The general atmosphere of the restaurant.
*Whether it was good value for money.
Happy eating!!!
